WHAT IS SLIPFORM KERBING?
Slipform kerbing is a construction method used to create continuous concrete kerbs, typically along roadsides or pavements. The process involves a slipform machine, which extrudes pre-mixed concrete into a mould that shapes the kerb as the machine moves along a predetermined path. This method allows for rapid and efficient kerb installation without the need for pre-cast sections, resulting in a seamless and uniform finish. It’s commonly used for large-scale projects due to its speed and precision.
